Slightly spicy, whole black beans.
Place beans in large pot. Add water until beans are covered by at least 1 inch of water. Cover and soak overnight or at least 12 hours.
Drain and rinse beans. Place beans back in pot. Add water until beans are covered.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer.
While beans are heating, sweat peppers, onion, garlic in the oil until tender.
Add vegetables and all other ingredients to the beans. Simmer for 1 hour or until beans are tender.
Add meat when simmering the beans for extra flavor.
