Description

Amazing Pumpkin cookies with little effort.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Shortening (Crisco)
  • 1 cup Granulated, white sugar
  • 1 cup Canned pumpkin
  • 2 cup White flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1 tbsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice)
  • 1/2 tsp Sea salt
    • Optional
  • 1/2 - 1 cup Raisins, nuts, Craisins, etc.
  • Icing

    Cream shortening and sugar together in mixer. Add pumpkin and mix well. Add all other ingredients and blend thoroughly. 

    Drop by spoonful on well greased cookie sheet.

    Place in oven for 10-15 minutes.

    Place on rack and cool.

    Ice if desired.
